Become part of our Saskatoon team as a Structural Engineer-in-Training and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including the structural design for new facilities as well as existing structural upgrades. Projects will include water /wastewater treatment, pumping and lift stations, transportation, institutional, commercial and industrial facilities.

Under the guidance of our technical experts, you’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule. You’ll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects. In this role, you'll also communicate with all members of the project team and will have the opportunity to work on projects sites.

You’ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into the office), with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil /Structural Engineering
  • Masters Degree in Structural and Seismic Engineering would be an asset
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or eligibility for it
  • Some experience in designing building structures would be an asset
  • Exposure to structural analysis and design software (i.e., STAAD, RAM, SAP2000, Visual Analysis, REVIT, AutoCAD etc.)
