Company Description: Niakwa Country Club is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Niakwa is a private 18-hole parkland course, designed by Stanley Thompson in 1923. Niakwa has recently hosted large events such as the 2011 Canadian Amateur, 2014 Manitoba Amateur, and the 2016 Players Cup. Niakwa Golf Course provides true golf experience and maintains a high standard of excellence.

Position to be filled: Full Time (Position is seasonal April-October)

Duties: All aspects related to the maintenance of the golf Club, which include:

• Greens, tees, fairways, and rough mowing
• Bunker maintenance
• Push mowing
• Trimming/weeding
• Sodding
• And all other jobs required by the superintendent

Qualifications: The successfulcandidate will be self-motivated, dedicated, reliable, and organized.

• Previous experience in the field is an asset
• Fundamental understanding of the game of golf is an asset
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently with others as well as by yourself
• Must have valid driver’s license

Job Requirements: All candidates must be willing to fulfill these requirements.

• Must be able to work early mornings (Start times between 5-6am)
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (Rain or Shine)
• Must understand that the job is physically demanding
• Average 40hrs weekly but must be flexible
• Must be willing to work weekends

Salary: $13.00-$14.00 per hour
