Project Overview
The Social Media Manager provides direction and support in the areas of social media marketing. The individual in this role will be involved in a wide range of tactical marketing and social media activities, including social media posting and engagement, monitoring and reporting on analytics and metrics, drafting email communications and blog posts, managing touchpoints with our community, developing, and executing on creative briefs, and managing engagement.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate content that drives engagement with employees, consultants, Leadership Team, and other stakeholders contribute to social media strategy: organic campaign planning, posting strategy, voice/tone, design elements, etc. (partner with Business Vendor)
  • Internal content creation (promotional and derivative content for blog, case studies, internal events, employee branding, Inclusion & Diversity, etc.)
  • Strategic planning
  • Creative briefs for design team/ content team
  • Attend internal events for content capture/ creation
  • Calendar/ scheduling management
  • Employee advocacy program management (currently the social media toolkit)
  • Paid boosting strategy, execution, and budget tracking
  • Monitoring for and responding to inbounds on social, escalating as needed
  • Leveraging and Familiar with Twitter keywords, #twitter-monitoring, my company tab on LinkedIn, Sprout Smart Inbox
  • Monitor social media landscape for newsjacking/ insertion opportunities
  • Reporting

Basic qualifications:

  • Strong program management skills applied to multiple workstreams involving a variety of stakeholders at various levels up and down the organization
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in social media
  • Effective time management, problem solving, & leadership presence
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to match brand voice and tone
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality social media campaigns in very dynamic environments
  • Experience in advertising operations or media planning including the use of planning and paid amplification tools like Sprinklr or native social channel ad management tools
  • Understanding of creative development process and media planning
  • A passion for social media and understanding its business impact

Dates: ASAP - 1 year+ in duration
Full/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours/week
Location: Remote
