The Ministry of Justice is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.

Court Services is seeking a highly skilled, self-directed, organized team player to provide administrative support to the management team as well as back up reception.

Reporting to the Director, Personnel Training and Support, you will be responsible for:

  • processing Screening Exemption Identification;
  • processing and tracking ITD service requests;
  • assisting with the timely preparation of paperwork related to staffing, classification, employee commencements and leaves;
  • collecting and submitting CVA Reports, maintaining CVA log, collecting statistics, and preparing year end statistics;
  • gathering information and sending in payout requests;
  • creating and proof reading documents and entering data into various systems;
  • providing support to employees on use of PSC Client;
  • handling incoming mail and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems; and
  • providing back up administration for Court Services including but not limited to, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public, and the LEARN system; and,
  • other general office administration duties.

Our candidate of choice will be a quick study who is attentive to detail, enjoys a challenge and has excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will have knowledge of office administrative procedures, filing systems and extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this job would be obtained through completion of a certificate/diploma in office education with related administrative work experience.
