THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking Registered Psychologists to join our Teladoc Health Medical Group (THMG). The THMG is a world-class virtual practice of providers with a passion for taking care of people and a devotion to clinical excellence. From family medicine to mental health to expert medical advice, our providers help millions of people around the world. With our emphasis on medical quality, we place tremendous focus and resources on clinical innovation, standards, and measurement to enable our providers to deliver the best outcome for every patient.

The position is remote, you can add to your current clinical caseload or build an entire telemedicine mental health caseload depending on the provinces you are licensed in. This unique opportunity will contribute to shaping the evolution of virtual care in Canada as an industry standard.

AS A TELADOC HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST YOU WILL:

  • Provide the best in-class patient care for Teladoc Health (TH) members via both video and phone interactions
  • Assess TH members mental health needs and/or diagnoses, perform case reviews and provide structured psychotherapy treatment
  • Produce detailed, high quality psychological assessments and treatment reports
  • Maintain complete, timely and legible clinical documentation
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal, provincial and territorial health information privacy laws

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Registered as a member in good standing with a provincial or territorial regulatory body of psychology
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in the field
  • Experience providing services via information and communication technology (e.g. telehealth/telemedicine) preferred
  • Experience performing psychotherapy treatment for individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from a recognized institution and practical experience in the use of CBT preferred
  • Additional training and experience in other specific interventions preferred (e.g. DBT, ACT, Mindfulness)
  • Experience with return-to-work planning and disability management
  • Demonstrated ability to producing detailed, high quality assessment and treatment reports and clinical documentation
  • Experience with utilizing and interpreting psychological assessments (i.e. Personality Assessment Inventory and the Depression, Anxiety and Stress severity scale - version 21)
  • Bilingual: French/English. *Preferred but not required.
