Position Summary


Parkview Place, located in Enderby, is seeking to hire a temporary, part time Rehabilitation Assistant. This is a position that will provide coverage until October 2022, or return of incumbent. Shifts are scheduled Monday to Fridays 09:00 to 14:00 hours. When the employee occupies the position for 6 months or longer, entitlement to the reimbursement for benefits and enrollment in the benefit plan will be at the expense of the employer.

Parkview Place embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. Housed on the 2nd floor of the Community Health Centre, this is a 31 bed complex care facility with private rooms in two wings.

What will you work on?
A Rehabilitation Assistant takes clinical direction from Interior Health’s Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist and carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs. Functioning as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the residents and assisting the therapists in monitoring and evaluating residents’ progression.

You will contribute to the multidisciplinary team by helping residents maintain their quality of life and dignity. You will contribute a specialized body of knowledge in supporting residents’ mobility and activities of daily living.
