New Job Office Janitor In Alberta

Royal Camp Services is a leading provider of workforce accommodations, catering and complementary services to customers operating in the oil, natural gas and mining industries in Western Canada.

We are looking to add an Office Janitor to our South Edmonton location. This role will assist several different departments by performing janitorial duties, vehicle maintenance, and other warehouse related tasks.

A typical day would be spent performing janitorial duties by cleaning common areas, private offices, and fleet vehicles.

Duties include:

• Dust, disinfect, and wash surfaces, windows, and office equipment
• Clean common area bathrooms including washing mirrors, toilets, sinks, spot cleaning walls/stalls, sinks, faucets, sweeping and mopping floors
• Empty garbage and recyclables
• Clean all light fixtures, air ducts, and doors
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping entrances, boot rooms, stairs, and floors
• Exterior site maintenance including disposing of litter from parking lot
• Cleaning and sanitizing fleet vehicles in a heated garage
• Shoveling snow and de-icing multiple entrances
• Helping to load and unload warehouse trucks
• Assist with covid-19 rapid testing of field staff
• Other tasks as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience required
• Available to work a 6AM to 2:30PM shift, Monday through Friday
• Own transportation is required as public transit is not available
• Personable attitude and professional appearance required
• Demonstrable written and verbal communication abilities
• This position requires the following certifications: Standard First Aid
• Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
• Be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Be able to provide a clean drivers abstract
• Be able to provide a clean criminal record background check
