People think you own a crystal ball when, really, it's your mastery of financial models and experience in accounting that gives you and your peers pinpoint accuracy when evaluating new business opportunities. Financial insights in hand, you actively contribute to business development discussions and collaborate with your team to determine the best way forward. With your skills and expertise, you'd be a great fit as our Reporting and Financial Analyst, Renewable Gas Supply.

Joining our Renewable Gas group, you'll both lead all of our Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) reporting and develop financial models that support the development of new RNG projects.

You thrive when thinking outside of the box and utilize your creative thinking to open new doors for exciting projects. On top of that, you have a experience in a structured industry, allowing you to easily navigate formal reporting processes.

We've solidified our commitment to sustainability with our 30BY30 promise to reduce our customer's emissions by 30 per cent by the year 2030. RNG plays a critical role in achieving our goal, and we know you can help us get there. Join us in rethinking our energy future In year 1, you will:
Support all novel renewable gas projects by developing financial and cost of service models to create the economic basis for evaluting new opportunities in their early stages.
Develop reporting templates and complete reports for various areas, including sustainability, regulatory and existing supply project performance, among others.
Build and manage a financial model that can be used to compare the value of various renewable gas projects for the purpose of prioritizing our renewable gas supply projects.
Increase your understanding of emission abatement calculations and develop good reporting tools to feed into our 30BY30 emissions reduction forecasts.

In year 2, you will:
Improve the efficiency of existing reporting structures related to renewable gas.
Manage supply forecast models, develop new capital projections and renewable gas cost forecasts.
Work with our stakeholders to develop analysis tools that can screen future capital investment opportunities.

What it takes:
A bachelor's degree in Commerce or an equivalent program plus four to seven years of experience related to accounting, finance and/or business development in a structured industry; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
An knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory finance and regulatory reporting.
Some history outside developing financial models and statements and supporting new project development and/or construction projects.
A basic knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting, carbon life cycle analysis and reporting is considered an asset.
The ability to actively contribute to new project development using your business acumen, creativity and ability to think outside the box to get to a mutually beneficial deal. What you need to know:
