New Job Janitor, Maintainer - Limited To 25 Km Of Lutselk'E In Northwest Territories

This job opening is limited to residents living within 25 kilometres of Lutselk'e.

Located in Lutselk'e and working in the Heath Centre, the Janitor/Maintainer reports administratively to the Nurse in Charge and maintains general cleanliness and tidiness of the Health Centre to reduce the risk of disease. The Janitor/Maintainer is responsible for building and ground maintenance, duties include: sweeping, washing and polishing floors, vacuuming carpets and upholstery and ensuring the janitorial room is kept stocked and organized.

The Janitor/Maintainer is also responsible for transportation and courier services, and transports patients and staff as required, delivery and pick up of mail and parcels, as well as collects supplies from local vendors. The Janitor/Maintainer must maintain a logbook and facilitate regular maintenance checks of each vehicle.

A combination of training, work experience and related experience in building maintenance and orientation.
