The Saskatchewan Public Service Commission (PSC) is the central human resource agency for the Government of Saskatchewan. The Commission provides leadership and policy direction to all ministries to enable a high-performing and innovative professional public service.

The Human Resource Service Centre (HRSC) division provides payroll, human resource and benefits administration services to the Government of Saskatchewan. The HRSC is seeking a client focused, team player to join our Strategic Systems and Innovation Branch.

The Strategic Systems and Innovation branch is looking to fill a term Configuration Analyst position to support the Government of Saskatchewan’s HR Management system. Reporting to the Manager, HR Management Systems, this position will provide support to the Configuration Specialist subject matter experts through troubleshooting, configuration, and testing assistance.

Other responsibilities will include business analysis, procedure and process development, regular collaboration with subject matter experts to analyze and evaluate requirements (contractual, letters of understanding, new enhancements, system upgrades and patches), working closely with the IT resources in system development, and testing changes to maintain accurate results within the system.

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills are required to evaluate and resolve complex processing issues within the system. You will use your strong written and verbal communication skills to develop a variety of documents such as technical requirements, training and procedure guides, and discussing information with both technical and non-technical internal and external resources.

Typically, you will have attained this technical knowledge through post-secondary education in computer science or experience supporting HRMS applications.

Hours of Work: A - SGEU Office 36 - one day off every two weeks
