Coquitlam Parks, Recreation, Culture and Facilities is currently recruiting for auxiliary Building Services Attendants to join our team! This position is a great opportunity to join the City and see what we are all about! The Building Services Attendant position is a role involving unskilled manual work, setting up and moving furniture and equipment at our recreation facilities. Repetitive cleaning, minor maintenance and/or building service tasks will be expected.
The ideal candidate will bring a positive and up-beat attitude when performing repetitive tasks and will enjoy providing an exceptional level of service for our residents and City colleagues. Some related experience is an asset but not required. Successful candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends.
A CUPE hourly rate of $22.98-26.87 (2022 rates) plus 12% in lieu of benefits is offered. Applicants under consideration will be required to undergo a police information check (with no adverse reports).
