  • Education Required:
  • Currently enrolled in Business Administration, with an interest in Human Resources (co-op program or regular studies
  • Available for a Winter work term and in good academic standing
  • Student must have completed at least one prior work term in an HR or Business role
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of, and experience with recruitment is considered a strong asset

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including attracting and sourcing candidates , screening, interviews and working closely with Hiring Managers on candidate suitability
  • Work collaboratively with team members from various departments on a variety of ad hoc requests
  • Utilize our human resources information system (HCM) i.e. employees changes, updating employee listing
  • Assist with performance management, industrial relations, and other HR related duties that arise
  • Lead and complete special projects as required
