Genesis has a unique new opportunity for a Product Coordinator Co-op Student looking to contribute to a truly unique business environment. You will help us build a world-class Product Management operation. The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to problem solving and can help guide us as we commercialize our inventive core actuation (electric motors, gears, combined actuators) technologies.

You will be pivotal in developing best practices as we scale our Product Management capability and capacity. Reporting to the Product Management team Lead, you will collaborate with high-calibre product managers and analysts as well as a talented array of technologists from multiple disciplines.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Facilitate market research initiatives supporting the development of new products
  • Facilitate planning and coordinate activities for corporate projects (marketing, facilities, IT)
  • Develop templates for use by the Product Managers
  • Compile and analyse product data for industry and competitive reports
  • Strive for continuous improvement of product management management practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1+ years experience working professionally in a co-op or industry position
1+ years experience with MS Project, MS Powerpoint, MS excel

  • Experience with Agile project management practices
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in a product development environment
  • Formal academic training in either engineering and/or business
