Job Information

Located in Yellowknife, the Executive Director, Clinical Integration reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA).

This position is accountable for providing strategic leadership for clinical operational practices for service delivery across all regions in the NTHSSA.

The Executive Director, Clinical Integration champions and oversees the development of territory-wide strategies and operational plans and standards for quality and service delivery of all health, continuing care and social services delivered within the NWT.

This position also works collaboratively with the Regional Chief Operating Officers, TCSA CEO, Hay River Health & Social Services Authority, Territorial Medical Director, and the Department of Health & Social Services to ensure that territorial programs, policies, standard and service quality levels are achieved at the local and territorial level.

The Executive Director, Clinical Integration provides leadership to a team of professional/clinical staff which delivers a broad range of programs and services, which include:

  • Health Care Services
  • Public Health Services
  • Continuing Care Services
  • Social Services
  • Quality, Safety and Client Experience

Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:

A Master’s Degree in a health, public, or business administration (equivalent degrees at the Masters Level will be considered) with a minimum of 15 years senior level management experience.
Or
An undergraduate degree in a related field (nursing, social work, health administration, public administration, business administration, or equivalent), with a minimum of 17 years senior level management experience.
