Qualicare Homecare of Mississauga is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Caregivers/Personal Support Worker (PSW's) you will support our clients in Mississauga providing Alzheimer care, Auto Injury Care and Senior Care. Work setting is within private residence.
As a Qualicare employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.
How you will spend your days:
Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL's)
Light Housekeeping (IADL's vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
Basic Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers
Success in this role:
Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills

Shifts:
Weekday-Days 10am-5pm
PPE:
Qualicare will supply all necessary PPE (Mask, gloves, sanitizer-if any additional PPE is required-Qualicare will provide)
