Created in 2016, Nalcor Energy Power Supply, oversees non-regulated utility operations and assets, and encompasses Churchill Falls (CF (L) Co), the Labrador-Island Transmission Link, Labrador Transmission Assets, Strait of Belle Isle Marine Cable Crossing, and existing generation assets. Once Lower Churchill Project construction is complete, Power Supply will also operate and maintain the project’s generation and transmission assets.
Student Assistant: 15 hours per week until December 17, 2021

Eric G. Lambert School is a K-12 private school of 151 students and 19 teaching units. It is operated by Nalcor Energy – Churchill Falls and follows the prescribed curriculum of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education.
In this role, you will provide educational support to a student at the Primary or Elementary Level. You will also ensure that the student’s safety and personal care needs are met.
You will have graduated from high school (Grade 12 or equivalent) supplemented with training or post-secondary certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Youth Care Worker, Special Education, or other related fields. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience in CPI would be definite assets. A recent criminal background check and vulnerable sector check are also required.
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
Relocation is not provided for this position – the successful candidate must reside in Churchill Falls.
