Due to exceptional business growth DB Schenker is hiring a talented, ambitious Steam Lead who will report directly to the Operations Manager. This exciting role has been newly created for the organisation and offers a phenomenal opportunity to build out a new team. As a Steam Lead you will oversee the operations workflow ensuring the needs and requirements for a particular customer are met. You will support the Key Account Manager and work with your team to ensure that the business segment is performing to the required levels/SLA's. You are a confident negotiator, skilled in resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

Candidates should possess a relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in meeting customer SLAs. The ideal person has Stream/Team Lead experience in a relevant industry and a proven track record in staff training. Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a multi-modal freight forwarding/logistics role.
