Reporting to the Director, Human Resources – Prairies, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for promoting the Company culture and values, all activities related to recruitment and selection, communication, employee benefits, training and development, health and safety, and employee/labor relations for the Saskatoon location. This is a temporary fixed term position for 6-12 months .

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Act as an HR business partner for managers, supervisors and personnel on policies, procedures and

practices pertaining to human resources, benefits and safety;

· Lead liaison for Union and Employee Relations issues;

· Champion the Saputo Culture to all levels of employees;

· Lead and carry out internal and external recruitment and ensure integration of new employees;

· Perform various administrative duties related to human resources (i.e. insurance documents, assistance with the administration of salaries, maintenance of personnel files, etc.);

· Influence on best HR practices across all Plant departments;

· Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

· A diploma in Human Resource Management. A CHRP designation would be an asset;

· 7 to 10 Years Human Resource Generalist experience. 3-5 years of Human Resources Management experience;

· Dependable and team oriented with a history of being able to work independently;

· Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
