Aon Is Looking For A Document Configuration Specialist.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our pension administration business group within Aon in Montreal, Qc.

Job Responsibilities
Review analysis documents and configure the statements (using graphic user interface tools and merge functionality from Microsoft Word), to fix a system defect or complete a client request/change.
Complete unit testing to ensure no major defects are in the calculated results. Determine if configuration performs accurately, reflects requirements, and has zero negative impact to existing provisions (including regression testing analysis).
Document defects when actual results do not meet expected results.
Analyze issues/defects and debug the system when configuration is not producing expected results. Research issues to determine if source of error is with the test data, test plan, expected results, or configuration.
Resolve issues with test cases or with configuration and re-tests. Escalate issues as appropriate.
Coordinate, manage and monitor activities related to system maintenance.
Oversee day-to-day work per priorities.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Technical Skills

Knowledge in defined benefits pension administration.
Very strong computer skills (Excel, Word), including deep expertise with the merge fields functionality of Microsoft Word.
Troubleshoot basic system defects and errors.
Ability to interpret and understand requirements documentation.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies (an asset).
Understand basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys).

Formal Education
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, finance, administration or equivalent work experience in an analytical area.
