POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The assistant responsible for health services contributes to the planning and control of activities relating to the provision of care and the well-being of residents. He ensures compliance with the standards of the profession as well as the certification regulations for private seniors' residences relating to his sector.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management
- Act as an intermediary for various external stakeholders (physicians, pharmacists, CLSC, CISSS/CIUSSS, etc.)
- Exercise in accordance with the laws and standards in force, the range of values and the convictions (beliefs) of the residents
- Plan human resources and manage replacements in the health care department
- Take appropriate action during any emergency situation that may arise in the establishment
- Work in close cooperation with the health services manager to supervise and motivate registered and/or auxiliary nurses and resident attendants
Health Care
- Collaborate in the follow-up of the medical dossiers, occasionaly arrange appointments and prescriptions for the residents
- Identify and transmit the needs of the service department
Construction
- All other related tasks
Human Resources
- Take responsibility for staffing in your area; onboard, train and integrate new personnel
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC)
- Member of the OIIQ
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- Experience in personnel management
