Our Timberlands Food Store in Red Deer is looking for a casual and a part-time Grocery Clerk to join our team.

Casual: less than 24 hours/week.

Part-time: 24-36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - early mornings (5:00 AM start), days, and evenings (up to 10:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

  • Unload grocery shipments,
  • Order, receive, stock, and face hardware and general merchandise,
  • Greet customers and respond to customer questions,
  • Directing junior team members,
  • Be alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise,
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Attention to detail and quality,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.).
