As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering standard and ad hoc reports through data analysis and data collection from data sources. You will work closely with the Disability Solutions and Shared Services team to support, maintain and troubleshoot End-User Computing (EUC) tools. This position will also involve contributing to project work and participating in meetings with stakeholders to understand and gather requirements to meet their business needs.

Accountabilities:
  • Execute management and client reports that track Disability Management Service Office (DMSO) and Disability Intervention Services (DIS) operational effectiveness by strict timelines: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Perform data analysis and requirements gathering to support the development and availability of reports from existing data sources.
  • Troubleshoot and contribute to the maintenance of all reporting tools and EUCs.
  • Participate in projects as required, including drafting test plans, and performing quality testing.
  • Provide customer support by responding to inquiries, investigations and resolving defects in reporting tools and EUC tools.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Education/skills acquired through enrollment or graduation of an IT recognized or related program.
  • Minimum two years of experience in working with Excel, including macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Other programming languages would be considered an asset.
  • Minimum two years of experience in requirement gathering and participating in IT and/or business projects.
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a client support environment.
  • Proficient in analyzing and manipulating data using Excel (macros, VBA).
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision making.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and working in a project setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with all stakeholders to clarify and obtain required information.
  • Well-developed organizational skills including prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with Power BI, MS Access and/or SQL would be an asset.
  • You will consent to a criminal background check as well as the Government of Canada enhanced security screening, the cost will be covered by Canada Life
