Your impact as an Account Executive

As an Account Executive your primary focus is retention of existing client accounts along with development of new revenue including both new accounts and new to existing opportunities. The Account Executive acts to coordinate all Aon resources and to bring the best of Aon to each client. You are responsible for delivery of all aspects of the Aon Client Promise plan .

What you’ll do: Retain existing client revenue and produce new business . Assist in the development of the service team's sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation Develop comprehensive new business sales and development plans for identified targeted prospects and existing clients based on pre-agreed financial Focus on developing relationships within specific segments. Where applicable be active in business associations within that Take a leadership role in the business community by being visible at business events in the geographic region serviced; Demonstrably be the visible face of Aon to the clients/prospects in the community working to consistently prospect and engage in lead generation activities Articulate and add elements to the Aon Value Proposition for targeted industry or segment groups Provide leadership to the account team and mobilizing Aon resources Using the Aon Client Promise Plan, develop and implement a revenue and client growth plan and strategy that integrates all levers of the Aon Revenue Engine Identify specific client and prospect needs and develop innovative and cost-effective Cross-sell, expanding the existing insurance programs with our clients; develop and manage client relationships in order to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business Provide the leadership necessary for development and delivery of insurance and industry related presentations/seminars prospects and clients as Develop and maintain knowledge of clients’ operations and risk Review and revise insurance program in conjunction with the client to ensure complete and appropriate Ensure the 120 Day Renewal Process is followed Introduce the service team to clients as their day-to-day point of contact for ongoing service needs and ensure smooth communication and coordination with the Maintain at all times, a thorough understanding and knowledge of all available Aon resources and solutions available, and matching those to client business requirement Work closely with the Sales Manager & Branch Manager providing strategic planning advice and guidance Lead the client service team in implementation & execution of Aon Best Practices - NSB Standards Meet with local client service team on a regular basis to review plans and priorities (no less than twice monthly as a group) Ensure that Salesforce information including Account in Jeopardy information is kept current and opportunities recorded and closed

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Experience: 5 years’ experience in the Insurance industry Demonstrated success in building “trusted advisor” style relationships with internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and while managing competing priorities Customer-centric approach to problem-solving Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Proven success working both collaboratively and independently as required
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or similar area of focus or equivalent years of experience CAIB or CIP designations or working towards same Provincial Insurance License
