About Next Gen Men

Next Gen Men is working towards a future where boys & men feel less pain, and cause less harm by promoting positive masculinities, mental wellbeing, healthy relationships, and gender equity in schools, communities, and workplaces across Canada. This role supports each of our programmatic focuses, as well as the overall organization's image and voice.

Our values include:

Curiosity — To learn and unlearn
Empathy — To build bridges
Courage — To take action
Equity — To remove barriers

At Next Gen Men, we:

  • Are a small and dynamic team that doesn’t subscribe to 9-5 office work outside of program hours and use tools like Google Apps and Basecamp to get things done with geographically dispersed colleagues

  • Will be 7 years old this fall and are still learning every day—you get to be a part of that! We need someone willing to look at it with a critical eye and give us constructive feedback on how we can improve as an organization

  • Are very much a ‘start-up’ grassroots organization, which means we all wear a lot of hats and have to roll up our sleeves to get the necessary work done—above and beyond the job description sometimes
