New job Intern, Application Development, Fall 2021 (casual 4 months) in Quebec

L3 Technologies MAS, located in Mirabel (QC), is a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, Inc.

As Intern, Application Development at L3 MAS you will:
As an Intern, Application Development within our Software group, you will collaborate in the development of various software tools intended for various platforms such as the CF-18, CT-114, CC-150, etc. In addition, you will participate in software development initiatives to increase efficiency as part of the Continuous Improvement Program.

Essential Functions:

• Program desktop applications and web interfaces;
• Participate in software development cycle (design, development, maintenance, etc.);
• Collaborate with customers, partners or members of the project team for the implementation of solutions.
• Write technical and functional specifications.

Qualifications:

• Have experience in software development using Object Oriented languages;
• Knowledge of relational databases (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, etc.);
• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: .NET Framework, .NET Core, git, JIRA and Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of software development cycle.

• Passionate, dynamic, motivated, agile in action, and a desire to learn;
• Good adaptation skills; and
• Good listening and speaking skills.

Operational requirements:

• Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
• Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
