The Information Services Division is a technology leader, planning and delivering successful solutions with information management and information (IM) services to both the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction and the Ministry of Children and Family. The division also provides IM/IT resource planning, decision making, project and issue management, security and privacy functions in the social sector.

The purpose of this position is to manage large scale projects (medium to long term) with significant external impact, a range of internal and external partners and significant assigned resources. Accountable for defining and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration; OR
  • An equivalent combination of educational and experience.
  • minimum 2 years experience managing human resource projects and/or project components. ) Request:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing the work of contracted workers and resources.
  • For minimum 2 years experience developing and implementing complex human resource data sets.
Preference may be given to those with:
  • Professional designation or equivalent project management experience.
  • I have experience with recruitment in the public service.
  • Experience with chairing panels in public service. "
