The IT Division of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is responsible for setting government-wide policies and standards in IT infrastructure, IT support services, security, telecommunications, and citizen service delivery.
The Infrastructure and Operations Branch is currently seeking one highly-motivated individual with strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills to perform the role of Account Management Analyst. This position will provide support to ensure normal operations of the data, security, and identity management of the databases as well as ensuring Ministry applications are available and accessible for clients in regards to the Service Levels. They will diagnose technical incidents and perform problem identification and root cause analysis in order to provide solutions. Account Management Analysts will be familiar with project planning techniques and current industry best practices and processes for delivery of IT services.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of various Microsoft operating systems such as Windows 7-10, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and various databases such as Oracle, Unix, Citrix, SQL, and Web based. You will also be familiar with Active Directory, Azure AD, MS Exchange, 0365, Power Shell and Security practices and procedures; personal computer and network hardware components; and data communications hardware, software, and networking protocols.
Typically, this knowledge would be obtained through two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a Help Desk/Service Delivery Support role to successfully meet the competencies.
