We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join our Development team in Toronto. In this role, you will support all development initiatives across Canada which includes approximately $3 Billion in projects currently underway as well as a Development Pipeline in excess of $5.0 Billion.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
- Underwriting real estate development opportunities by assisting in the creation of pro-forma financial models for existing and/or future projects; across all product types (office, retail, industrial, and multi-family);
- Running lease and cost sensitivity analysis for development projects;
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations to Oxford’s Investment Committee and co-owners;
- Working with Oxford’s Investment team to underwrite potential development related acquisitions;
- Liaise with internal and external groups to gather supporting details and information for various development projects/opportunities;
- Researching and collecting information to underwrite potential pre-development projects and potential new opportunities;
- Providing analytical support to Development and Construction leads for monthly reporting and accruals;
- Insightfully discuss and interpret results, identify key development considerations and risks; and
- Helping develop the technical skills and real estate knowledge of the Analyst team.
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning/Development or Engineering;
- Possession of (or working towards) a CFA and/or a professional accounting designation considered an asset but not required;
- 2+ year of work experience in a real estate, engineering, private equity, investment banking or a professional advisory firm is considered an asset but not required;
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), familiarity with ARGUS Enterprise considered an asset;
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail;
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and project management skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines; and
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
