Key Activities:
  • Works within a food services team to provide nutritious food to cadets, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, guests of members, outside agency courses, the Training Academy and Saskatchewan ‘F’ Division personnel
  • Under the supervision of the Chef de Partie, assists with serving, food preparation, and cleaning of the kitchen, dishes, utensils, equipment, food service areas and the mess hall, using proper safe food handling techniques and related safety and security practices
  • Duties include handling cash, table setting and table service

Intent of the process

Anticipatory Staffing - A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may
be used to staff positions with various tenures (indeterminate, specified period,
deployment and acting).

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Successful completion of the Serve Safe Course

Successful completion of WHMIS Training

Successful applicant is required to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. Telework or alternate work locations will not be an option.
