The Partnerships and Workforce Planning Branch at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health is seeking a highly skilled, confident, organized individual to provide a wide range of secretarial/administrative/office management and project support functions within the branch.
In this high volume and challenging work environment you will be responsible for providing administrative support to one or more unit director(s), their respective team members, and to the other administrative assistants as required. You will be responsible for composing or editing brief, routine correspondence; recording and transcribing proceedings of meetings; maintaining office equipment; explaining policies; maintaining office processes and procedures; reviewing, assessing, approving, coding and processing documents such as invoices, claims, and applications; ordering supplies; compiling reports and keeping budget records. You will also be responsible for scheduling meetings, travel and itineraries and logistics as well as establish and maintain filing and record management systems, and respond to enquiries via email, telephone or in person.
Typically, competencies required for this position would be obtained through a certificate/diploma in business education with several years of administrative experience.
