ACCOUNTING STUDENT CO-OP- WINTER 2022
Dieppe, NB

Reporting to the North American Accounting Manager, the selected student will be a “self-starter” with a strong work ethic and possess a high attention to detail.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Education Required: Accounting Co-op students in good academic standing, available for a work term this winter term
- Student must have completed at least 1 prior term in an accounting role
- Very good communication and organization skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
- High energy level with thorough attention to details
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
What You Can Expect from Your Work Term:
- Participate in month end financial closing process
- Exposure to the preparation of our internal financial statement package
- Assist in the year-end financial close and gain exposure to an external audit from the company's perspective
- Compile key information for the year-end tax package
- Participate in monthly forecasting
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Other ad hoc requests and projects as assigned
